Configuring Netscape

These instructions let you configure Netscape to bring up our home page as the default home page. Why? Because it's a good idea to have your ISP's home as your default home page. It's your springboard to the Web. You can make favorites (bookmarks) to your favorite places on the Web.

If you're using Netscape Communicator:

  1. In the Location field at the top, clear out whatever is already there, type http://www.mm.com/ and press the Enter/Return key on your keyboard.
  2. Pull down the Edit menu and select Preferences.

  3. In the Navigator Starts With section, click the Use Current button. Click OK.

(If you can't bring up our home page, pull down the Edit menu and select Preferences. In the Navigator Starts With section, make sure Home Page is selected. In the Home Page section, in the Location: field, change the URL in the box to http://www.mm.com/ and select OK.) Click the Home button to bring up our home page.

If you're using an older version of Netscape Navigator:

Pull down the Options menu and select either General Preferences or Network Preferences, depending on the version you're using. Make sure Home Page is selected in the Starts With section. Change the URL in the accompanying field to:

http://www.mm.com/

Then, click OK.
