After starting Netscape, pull down the Options menu, select General
Preferences, then
the
Appearance tab to make sure
Netscape is configured to default to our home page. In the "Startup"
section, select
"Browser starts with Home Page Location", and enter http://www.mm.com/ in
the space
provided. Select "OK" to save this change.
Now pull down the Options menu
and choose Mail and News Preferences.
Choose the Servers tab.
Note: substitute your specific personal information for these
values shown above
Configuration Values
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: -- smtp.mm.com
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: -- pop.mm.com
POP3 User Name: -- username (usually your login
username, unless this is a secondary (additional) mailbox, in which case,
use the mailbox username we gave you).
Choose the Identity tab.
Your Name: -- your real name (not your email address
or your username)
Your Email: -- typically username@mm.com, or
alias@mm.com, or anyname@your-domain.com (if we are hosting your
domain).
Reply-to Address: -- usually the same as your email
address.
Choose the Organization tab.
If you'd like to have Netscape remember your password, check the
Remember Mail Password checkbox.
Click OK.
