- When you open up WS_FTP, the Session Properties screen
should
appear.
- Enter a Profile Name if you want.
- Enter your Website's domain name for
Host
Name/Address.
Example: companyb.com
- For Host_type, Automatic detect should be
selected.
- For
User ID, enter your 3-8 character username.
For Password,
enter your 6-8
character password. You can check the Save Pwd box if you want to.
- Click
OK.
Once you're connected, your display will look something like
this:
The files on your computer will display on the left and the
files/directories in your home directory on our server will be on the
right. Double-click on the public_html directory. To put files into the
public_html directory, highlight the file on your PC you want to transfer
and click on the --> key.
When done, click on Close, then Exit.
